Hats Off

I’ve always felt just a little bit silly in a hat …But these last few seasons I’ve been coming around to the idea. Wearing Scarves, Straw Trilby’s and Trucker Caps this summer. Last winter my chunky knit slouchy beanie from Wool And The Gang was a daily occurrence, and now we’re slipping back around into Autumn I’ve been lusting after some gorgeous fedora’s and trilby’s.

I snapped up this little Zara number with a graffiti band a few weeks ago.

Ordering online is a great idea, especially if you’re on the fence. Try it on and come back to it a few hours later to try again, wear it around the house a little and see how you feel in it.

The likelihood is, it will be delivered in a box, as opposed to shopping on the high street and having it in a bag.

Tah-Dah you have the perfect storage for it!

Zara Hat

Right now I’m wearing mine with cut off’s, slouchy T-Shirt’s, Check shirt’s and Breton. When the evenings draw in I’ll be layering up slouchy knits, skinny jeans and Ash kicks. When the cold really hits I’ll be adding a camel coat and a huge chunky knit scarf.

What To Spend?

For this next seasons picks,  look to spend between £20 – £60.

Where To Hunt?

If you’re not convinced you’ll get a lot of wear and are merely dabbling head to Matalan or H&M for something around £10.

To carry you into future seasons? Budget not a huge issue? Head to Whistles, Reiss, & Other Stories, Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters or my latest Instagram obsession Fallen Broken Street. Amazing selection.

Pour yourself a coffee and procrastinate on Pinterest for more inspiration.

I’m All About

If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen a well loved denim shirt if mine finally gave up the ghost.

And so, this week I've been all about replacing the old with the new.

On my quest with iPad in hand, I found some beauts on the high street to tempt you to fill any denim shirt shape spaces in your wardrobe.

Keep your eyes peeled for some mid season sales.

This All Saints Number is reduced from £88 to £61.50.

Whistles haven't got a huge range of denim, but when they do it, they do it beautifully.

Good ol' trusty Zara have this distressed beaut for £39.

New Look have a good range with prices starting at just £16.
H&M have a few in different washes, I'd never have thought this beaut was only £19.99.
I went for a Topshop option at £32, a combination of impatience, taking advantage of a quick shop with a cooperative sleeping toddler in tow.
Loving how soft this Moto shirt is. Normal service is resumed.
