Hats Off

I’ve always felt just a little bit silly in a hat …But these last few seasons I’ve been coming around to the idea. Wearing Scarves, Straw Trilby’s and Trucker Caps this summer. Last winter my chunky knit slouchy beanie from Wool And The Gang was a daily occurrence, and now we’re slipping back around into Autumn I’ve been lusting after some gorgeous fedora’s and trilby’s.

I snapped up this little Zara number with a graffiti band a few weeks ago.

Ordering online is a great idea, especially if you’re on the fence. Try it on and come back to it a few hours later to try again, wear it around the house a little and see how you feel in it.

The likelihood is, it will be delivered in a box, as opposed to shopping on the high street and having it in a bag.

Tah-Dah you have the perfect storage for it!

Zara Hat

Right now I’m wearing mine with cut off’s, slouchy T-Shirt’s, Check shirt’s and Breton. When the evenings draw in I’ll be layering up slouchy knits, skinny jeans and Ash kicks. When the cold really hits I’ll be adding a camel coat and a huge chunky knit scarf.

What To Spend?

For this next seasons picks,  look to spend between £20 – £60.

Where To Hunt?

If you’re not convinced you’ll get a lot of wear and are merely dabbling head to Matalan or H&M for something around £10.

To carry you into future seasons? Budget not a huge issue? Head to Whistles, Reiss, & Other Stories, Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters or my latest Instagram obsession Fallen Broken Street. Amazing selection.

Pour yourself a coffee and procrastinate on Pinterest for more inspiration.
