I’m All About

This week I got a long awaited chop.

I tried the Sean Hanna salon in Cambridge. I had such a relaxing experience. I knew I wanted a micro fringe of sorts, I knew something needed to be done with the colour.

I thought I'd perhaps keep more length, but as the stylist explained, the blonde had dried it out so much and my hairs so fine, that to keep some of the length wouldn't do me any favours.so we opted for a very blunt bob.

A colour aliken to digestive biscuits. Fab.

And a shorter blunt fringe….. I should've pushed for a teeny bit shorter with the fringe. Next time.

With salons dotted around the country, take a look, and read through their current promotions, as a friend recommended me, we both got 30% off which made a significant difference to the overall cost.

…..cue cheesy before and after…of sorts

Is All About

This week, the top knotted tinker has been all about getting a little more independent.

Having her taster session for starting pre school in September. Spending time with our lovely friend, her auntie claire while the I take the boy on his school trip. She's learning how to take in new challenges without me by her side.

That stirs mixed feelings. My baby's growing up. But I'm excited for her, I'm looking forward to watching them both grow over the next year, we're going to drink in the summer before the school run kicks in again.

While the tinker was at her pre school session, I got to take this dude on a coffee date to his favourite garden centre to see the fish.

Is All About

This week the boy has been all about enjoying the last few days of being a Pre-Schooler.

September begins a new chapter in 'big boy school'. I think I held it together pretty well after his leaving party….. Sunglasses on indoors, no-one would've suspected.

A dear friend had the top knotted tinker for the day so that I could go with him to the zoo for his leaving trip. She had a ball!

We had the opportunity to feed the lemurs….a bit wary at first but he soon warmed to them.

My little big boy. Growing up.

On his last day, after breakfast we put on some music and busted some moves to celebrate.

All About

This week the boy has been all about finally earning all his stars he's been working hard for to get his new bike.

The anticipation when he only had a few left to earn,

The sheer excitement as he did it, and how he called his dad to tell him, he'd done it!

The next morning, they went to get him sized up, went for a pizza while they waited for it to be built and then he took to the big boys bike like a duck to water.

So, so very proud of this little dude.

Is All About

This week the top knotted tinker has been all about emptying out my bag, stuffing toys in my bag attempting to drag bag around…. Not happening.

I’m All About

This week I'm all about a cheeky pop of neon.

After colouring in the scuffs on my beloved studded cuff sandals with black marker for the umpteenth time this season. I thought it was time for some other summer footwear options.

There are some fantastic mid season sales on the high street if you're looking for a few pre holiday treats.

Sadly, these weren't in the sale… It was the voices. They made me.

These are probably the daintiest shoes I've bought for a long time. I'd seen the blue, pink, black and print colour ways in store I liked the style but the hot pink was a bit lairy for me, but these I stumbled across online. I liked that they're the leather, not the suede so a little more practical, had a bit of height and the pop of neon orange would be a refreshing addition to my wardrobe. In store for pick up within 2 working days I was a happy bunny.

I'll be teaming these with …. a much needed tan….cut offs, baggy long t's, ripped knee skinny jeans with turn ups, boyfriend jeans, some really loose palazzo zara trousers with loose vests and long maxi dresses with chunky knits.

Wedge Espadrilles – 'Monty' in Camel – Kurt Geiger £95.00
A popular style this summer. For other options, Office have some similar colour way alternatives at £55.00,
Or these are great from H&M for only £24.99.
Happy Shopping you lovely lot!
